Greetings from an alum -
I think it's great that the MHSRA has a nice looking website. I hope this helps
you with your marketing and alumni relations too. I surfed around for awhile.
Someone put thought and design into the website. Great Job.
Since I can remember the Board has been trying to get the alumni involved. My
suggestion would be to get your alumni coming to this site:
- Add in links for alumni.
- I'd encourage a list of former state
champions and pictures of former queens.
- "Accomplished alumni,
professionally" aka Todd Hipsag (87-89) National Finals Rodeo qualifier.
- The more alumni mentioned on the site the
- Message boards and upcoming events (region
fundraiser). I believe a large portion of alumni would like to give back in
My career after MHSRA has lead me across the US
but always connected to college athletics and alumni relations. Last
weekend I put together a South Dakota State University alumni gathering in
Raleigh, NC. Who would have ever guessed there would be a connection?
It was well received. My point is if the board has interest in pursuing
alumni relations map it after the university example. You never know what type
of gift you'll get in return.
